Last Friday, June 8, 2018, the President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Evo Morales Ayma, inaugurated the UPA 200T Autonomous Water Treatment Unit installed in the town of Huarina (near Lake Titicaca).
This unit is one of the two UPAs supplied by C.U.P.H. ROCCO S.A. to the Autonomous Binational Authority of Lake Titicaca (ALT), within the framework of the IMPANDES Project financed by the European Union (EU) and administered by the Andean Community (CAN).
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Evo Morales Ayma, Mr. Fernando Huanacuni, Mr. EU Representative Sergio Marinelli, Mr. Secretary General of CAN Walker San Miguel, Mr. ALT Executive President Juan José Ocola Salazar, of the Lord Mayor of Huarina Agustín Quispe Yujra, of representatives of OSE and C.U.P.H. ROCCO S.A., as well as various authorities of neighboring towns and social organizations.
